Bats, Beasties and Buried Treasure 2012 (BBB 2012)

Following the success of last year’s BBBT event, CCC has been at the heart of organising this year’s event at the Clay Pit in partnership with 12 other organisations. The weather actually held on Saturday 30th June and a huge event with over 25 different activities went off with a bang: canoeing, mountain-biking, fishing coaching, constructing a Rainbow Recycle Man, conservation surveys, building a frog hibernaculum, painting and clay-sculpture classes, archaeology, storytelling, history walks, doocot arts painting. So encouraging to see local folks taking delight in their community and growing in confidence. A real blessing for us as a church to cement friendships and be part of community life!
